Why it’s good for you
003-Hy incorporates two ingredients that boost each other's performance.
Omega-3 prolongs the hydrating effect of Hyaluronic Acid by slowing down its enzymatic degradation and accelerating skin barrier repair.
4.8 out of 5 stars. 4.
I suffer from sensitive, dry, flaky skin and winters are the worst for me. For years, I’ve applied products promising advanced exfoliating and/or moisturizing abilities and none have worked. The good science hydrating cream is the only product that has successfully kept my skin flake free this winter. And side note: Though this isn’t its purpose, I’ve found that this cream works super well as a primer. It completely smooths my skin for balanced makeup application. 5 stars for the cream that does what it promises plus a little more!
I really like the weight of the hydration face cream--it feels so nice! However, I have combination skin and am trying fight off this Michigan winter/constant heating so my cheeks can get super dry. The face cream works well on my T-zone and doesn't cause break outs (which is great because my skin can be sensitive to new products), but I find that my cheeks will be crying for more moisture within 5 minutes. I find that my face is happiest when I pair the face cream with either/both a little serum and facial oil. I am interested to see how this may hold up in Michigan spring.
I’ve only used it a few times but I was pleasantly surprised by this moisturizer. It’s not as lightweight as the purifying face cream but it’s also not heavy. I didn’t expect it to leave my skin hydrated all day but it did. So if you’re looking for a very hydrating cream that’s not heavy and won’t clog your pores but would leave your face feeling supple and more hydrated over time, this is a great option.
You know how you can tell if a moisturizer is well-made? If it’s not pure white. That’s not to say that white moisturizers aren’t good for your skin. But think about this for a second. Natural ingredients are all sorts of colors — some are green, some are brown, some are red, and on and on. One of the things I love about the GSB Hydrating Face Cream is that it’s got a light beige hue to it. It’s hideous! But authenticity is everything. And that goes for skincare products, too. This is simply a really well-formulated moisturizer. Like all of GSB’s formulas, it’s powered by the brand’s proprietary Good Silicon technology that carries its actives where they’re needed. In this case, the formula is carrying Hyaluronic Acid deeper into the skin where it can and will hold water longer so skin stays healthy and hydrated. The HA molecule is paired with Marine Omega-3 to prolong the hydrating benefits to skin. Hydrated skin is healthy skin! And during the colder NYC months, my skin is gonna need to hold as much hydration and moisture as it can to stay healthy and glowing. Bravo Good Science Beauty!!
