Good Silicon+® is made of skin-friendly natural Silicon, lipids, and amino acids. It wraps around ingredients to protect them from oxidation or degradation and keep them in their active, effective form.
Silicon is NOT the same as Silicone. Silicone (with an ‘e’ at the end) is a synthetic polymer. Good Silicon+ is based on elemental Silicon (without an ‘e’ at the end), which occurs in nature. Silicon is the second most abundant element in the earth’s crust and is an important trace element in the human body.
Good Silicon+® protects ingredients from degradation Many skincare ingredients, such as L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) or Vitamin E, are unstable. Which means they break down when exposed to oxygen or light and lose their efficacy. Good Silicon+ creates a protective shell of silicon, lipids and amino acids that stabilizes molecules.
Good Silicon+® boosts skin absorption The skin’s protective barrier, the stratum corneum, contains a matrix of fatty molecules called lipids. Fat and water don’t mix. Which is why hydrophilic (= water-loving) ingredients like L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) struggle to cross the stratum corneum. Good Silicon+ wraps ingredients in lipids, which facilitates their absorption through the skin’s lipid matrix.
Good Silicon+® dissolves into the bioavailable form of silicon As the Good Silicon+ particles slowly dissolve, their ingredients are released over time, giving them time to work where they’ll be most beneficial. At the same time, Good Silicon+ becomes a beneficial ingredient itself. It dissolves into orthosilicic acid, the absorbable form of Silicon, which supports collagen production and general skin health.

My skin was pretty good with the grocery store brands I was using but I had some dark spots and scarring that were not healing or going away. My friend recommended good science and bought me the purifying cream to try. I was very happy to see that my hormonal blemishes disappeared and healed noticeably faster than before. So I bought the whole skincare set (4) and my skin is so much smoother, clearer, and has less wrinkles. My skin looks like it did in my 20s so I’m pretty happy about that.

Yes, this is a big investment, but it's the best way to sample everything at a reasonable price. As an oily skinned person, my favorite item from this collection is the Purifying Face Cream, which keeps my breakouts at bay and feels light and fresh. It's a standout product. I was surprised to like the Hydrating Face Cream as much as I do, considering how oily I am, but it's a shortcut to visible results because it temporarily plumps the surface of your skin. The Skin Brightening Cream is another fast worker, because my forehead looks almost airbrushed after just 4 weeks---Vitamin C is a gamechanger. I have yet to see visible changes from the Firming Cream, but I'm going to keep at it anyway.

I have been procrastinating on establishing a skin routine but when I found out about Good Science Beauty I was sold on trying this collection. I wasn't sure on how to combine the different products at first, so I paid more attention to what my skin needed daily. I found the Hydrating face cream does wonders to heal my skin and keep it moisturized after being out in the sun for too long. The Purifying cream works well for me in the mornings, after I wash my face I apply it and it minimizes my pores which helps me not break out at the end of the day. I like to combine the Skin Brightening and Skin Firming creams at night, after I wash my face I apply each one in a circular motion, two pumps is all you need! After a few weeks of using this combo my skin tone has evened out and my face looks more youthful. These face creams are so light and refreshing and don't leave your skin feeling oily or sticky. I have definitely found my new skin regime, I highly recommend!

Wow, I can't believe it took me so long to find these products, but I am so happy that I did! I felt like the best way was to dive in and try the collection rather than dabble with individual products. No disappointment here - I have been looking for products to handle all of my skin concerns over the years and its been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. Every new brand and product is a gamble but I decided to go all in with the set. Within about a week I could tell that my skin felt firmer and my blemishes were beginning to disappear in spots. I have combination skin so the biggest struggle over the years has been trying to find facial cleansers and moisturizers that would do well for my skin without making me break out or get dried out. The pores on my forehead and cheeks definitely have been less noticeable. My nose may take a bit longer but the good news is that it seems like its steadily improving overall. When I bought these products I told myself to give it a month and be patient. I was so pleasantly surprised when I started seeing and feeling my skin get better after just a week! I know everyone's skin is so different, but as someone who has struggled finding quality products, this is absolutely the direction you should go and dont be afraid to spend the little extra money for the collection. We're talking about your face here...its 100% worth the investment.

This was my first time trying Good Science Beauty (but I had heard great things from my sister). I love how natural the products are and they all smell so nice. Each lotion has a different scent (all are so nice) and not overwhelming. I hate it when products smell artificial or super perfume-y; you can tell these lotions are amazing quality. The bottles are really nice and thick and the lotions are so soothing. I have been using 2 at once since I’ve found that the blemish one is not as hydrating. My skin can be sensitive and I love that these lotions do not make my skin breakout. If anything, my skin is much clearer and smoother. I get a really nice glowing look from these products. I can’t wait to see how my skin looks over more time. I will continue to buy these products, you should too!

I am very happy with the bundle I got from Good Science Beauty. I love that I can layer them. I typically use the hydrating and brightening lotions in the morning and the purifying and firming lotions in the evening. I’ve noticed improvements in my skin hydration and smoothness. Good-for-you skincare is important to me, and I am pleased with Good Science Beauty!
